Kj,
You have been such a good friend to me. Thanks for your patience!
I think I may have beat the pneumonia... at last! LOL Despite being ill, I still managed to get everything out on time..Yeah!!!
I read your blurbs about the Silver Series! ( I googled myself) Shh...don't tell anyone...
Your enthusiasm about this project has given me more encouragement than I could ever express. Thanks.
I will e-mail you later to let you know of the new developments.

Your Friend

Hi Sharon
The transformation from victim to victorious survivor is indeed a tough transition to make.
There are a lot of kids going through some very difficult times out there right now. Somebody needs to reach out to them and let them know that they are not alone, and; that life after abuse can be beautiful
once they learn how to let go of all the preconditioning they were forced to deal with as children.
It's my hope that when people read my memoirs, they will feel motivated to get involved in their communities and provide these hurting children with the much needed help they deserve, so that they are able to move on with their lives.
I have Post Traumtic Stress Disorder. I made this unfortunate consequence of the abuse I went through work for me when writing the Silver Series. The books invite the reader into the mindframe of the child and allows them to grow with her; experiencing her thoughts, her feelings and her pain; both physical and emotional.
The PTSD not only made the scenes easier to write, but also helped me to write them in the mindframe of the child as well; not only making it believable but also really providing the reader
with true insight as to what it was actually like.
Climbing Silver is not a pretty story...but it's an honest one; raw and to the point. However...the romance aspects of the novel do provide enough beauty, hope, determination and love, to counter and win over the horror. It is only the first out of four novels that are directly related to child abuse and its consequences. The Series starts during the childhood, then goes on to explore the many different ways one can act out during their young adult years. As the young victim learns how to achieve victory, the reader gets to move through this transition with her and discover how her new found faith and the support of a loving church helped to re-invent her.
I am the proud mother of three awesome children, two adult boys and a daughter who will be eighteen this year. All of my children grew up to be great, loving, smart...exceptional people who will one day take this world by the horns and make their marks. However;
I cannot declare victory in my life without reaching out to the ones who still need help. It just wouldn't be right... And; the thought that I can use my experiences to help others is what gives everything I've been through a higher purpose. I sure hate to think that I went through it all for nothing.
Thanks for your comments

Your review reminds me of Stormie O Martian's autobiography. She grew up with a mother suffering from schizophrenia who horribly abused her. O Martian's story has a wonderful victorious ending, however!

Beautifully written..the book trailer for Climbing Silver: Sacrifice of Innocence was awesome..you did a great job with the site..I can relate to your pain in the realm of what we faced many times in the hospitial only to apply a band-aid, it is a terrible thing when your hands are tied due to bureacracy. I am so proud of you for coming forth and bringing your words to the world, I know someone will hear this time...

I agree, the cover does look haunting. Good luck with this, Anna. Is it your first? I will be interested to follow your journey. I'm a writer exploring indie-publishing. I've been down the traditional publishing path and am writing about the lessons learned on my blog if you're interested in that. Soon I will be exploring and writing about the indie-publishing path. www.jodiebrownlee.blogspot.com
Have you considered adding a Twitter or facebook widget, or a google 'follow me' to your blog? I find them useful on mine. Your blog is clean and uncluttered though, and I really like that.
